About the VTI Foundation

The VTI Foundation is an independent nonprofit standards organization established to steward the Verifiable Trust Infrastructure (VTI) standard.

The Foundation exists to define and maintain open technical standards that bind authorization decisions to verifiable evidence in regulated and high-assurance digital environments.

Purpose

Digital systems increasingly enforce decisions with legal, financial, and operational consequence. Yet authorization mechanisms are often opaque, fragmented, and difficult to independently evaluate.

The VTI Foundation was established to address this gap by promoting deterministic, canonical, and independently verifiable trust-state standards.

Legal Structure

VTI Foundation, Inc. is incorporated in the State of Florida as a nonprofit entity dedicated to standards stewardship and public-benefit infrastructure.

The Foundation operates independently from commercial implementers of the VTI standard.

Non-Commercial Status

The Foundation does not develop products, operate platforms, or provide commercial services.

Its activities are limited to standards governance, publication, certification framework oversight, and related public-benefit initiatives.

Long-Term Stewardship

The VTI Foundation is established to steward the VTI standard over the long term, including controlled revision management, version history preservation, and governance stability.

The objective is durable trust infrastructure capable of withstanding regulatory scrutiny, independent audit, and cross-jurisdictional deployment.
